FOCUS AREAS

In order to counter the environmental issues arising from mining activities, the Colquechaca Foundation has an Environmental Responsibility Program focused on the work of mining cooperatives and small-scale mining.

We develop the Human Rights and Equity program with the aim of narrowing the existing gaps in opportunities and advocacy between women and men, through the creation of spaces for education, awareness-raising, and sensitization.

At the Colquechaca Foundation, we promote training programs specifically designed for mining cooperative members and associated women. Our goal is to strengthen soft, technical, and interpersonal skills, ensuring safer and more efficient work environments through workshops, practical courses, and personalized advisory services.

Environment:
We work with the following

• training workshops on environmental regulations and environmental responsibility awareness.

Human Rights and Equity

• Advocacy for the work of women in mining cooperatives.

• Workshops on self-care and proper use of personal protective equipment.

• Monitoring and promotion of human rights for mining cooperative members.

Likewise, the Colquechaca Foundation is committed to ensuring and monitoring that minors do not participate in the ranks of mining cooperatives and small-scale mining operations through monitoring, awareness-raising, and even reporting.
